(PRWEB) April 18, 2005 -- Marc Lannoy is the man that has been put in charge of this new wave of Luxury Sheraton Hotels in the Canary Islands. Having worked in the Canaries for nearly three years and after 25 years with the Company; Marc feels that the Sheraton Brand and the Canary Islands will make a perfect match.

Femi Jaye regional manager for Web Direct Holidays was in full agreement. He said "Tenerife has served the luxury holiday maker for many years now; it is great that smaller Islands like Fuerteventura and Lanzarote will be able to accommodate the more discerning traveler."

We are looking forward to being able to offer Starwood hotels inventory to our customers. Marc was very upbeat about the new Sheraton la Caleta in Tenerife, which opened in January. Designed by the Architect Melvin Villarroel, it is beautifully appointed with an overall effect of elegance and charm.

Thanks to Villarroel´s ingenious use of space all the rooms have sea views. There are 21,000 square meters of gardens and swimming pool areas; this coupled with Tenerife’s temperate climate will make this hotel one of the top spots in the Canaries, if not Europe.

The reason the Sheraton chain of hotel is so popular according to Marc, because "they offer the client consistency" The Sheraton hotels don’t just offer five star provision - they are successful because customers know that, no mater which Sheraton hotel they go to, they can expect the same high standard of service.
